The Rosebud Tarot is a 78-card tarot deck based on the structure and images found in the classic Smith-Rider-Waite. Its images, created by Amanda Lee Stilwell, are digital collage dreamscape pathways into archetype. Its guidebook, written by Diana Rose Harper, is heartopening mythopoetry that gives keys to meaning, not just keywords to memorize. Court & majors have been renamed to focus on the underlying archetypes & energies, rather than colonial ideas of gender or hierarchies typically depicted in tarot.
Note from our Boss Witch Brianna: intuitive readers who like keyword methods & relating cards back to elemental and astrological energies will really like this deck. I also recommend it for beginners who are intimidated by traditional decks or distracted by all the colonial shenanigans at play in most decks. I haven't been this excited about a deck in a long time & I am delighted to have The Rosebud Tarot in the store.
RIP Shrink wrap is unfortunately landfill bound. Deck, booklet, and box are all paper and can be recycled or upcycled at the end of their life.
